1978 Study trip to the Republic of Korea, witnessing the pro-democracy movement of churches, students, and workers. Working on the JP Stevens Boycott with students at Brown University. And then working with the Rev. Jim Drake and the Southern Woodcutters Assistance Project in rural Mississippi and attending an IAF 10-day training.
