What brought you into the work?:

A desire to increase the power of people to impact the decision-making process at the local, state and national level. I was asked by some local clergy to help build a local organization.

The Vietnam War; the integration of a housing project where I lived; political corruption in my home city

Worked with clergy to develop an organization in Allentown, PA

Yes, I am still an organizer. I work with the PICO National Network focusing on raising money for organizing.
